Rural Addressing Project

Council has implemented Rural Addressing throughout Uralla Shire.
Official Road Names and Locality Names have been formalised. Locality Names form the legal bottom line of your address. Council has installed yellow rural number posts with night time reflective numbering at property entrances throughout the Shire. 42% of the Shire was completed in 2002/2003. The remainder of the Shire had rural number posts and updated and missing road name signs installed in August and September 2003.
Council intends to maintain the Rural Numbering system and allocate rural numbers and instal new signs as buildings are constructed. If you have a property entrance that needs a rural number, please contact Council.
