The Annual Report Consists of an Annual Report document, Financial Statements, Details of Performance under the Management Plan, State of the Environment Report, and Community Plan.
The main document includes Council's report as at the end of the financial year on specific statutory matters that Council is required to report on under the Local Government Act. Those areas are: - Condition of public works;
- Summary of legal proceedings taken by or against Council;
- Mayoral and councillor fees;
- Employment of senior staff;
- Contracts awarded by Council;
- Rural bushfire hazard reduction;
- Programs for people with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds;
- Works carried out on private land subsidised by Council;
- Section 356 donations;
- Statement of human resource activities;
- Implementation of EEO management plan;
- External bodies with delegated Council functions;
- Council Companies;
- Council partnerships, co-operatives or other joint ventures;
- Overseas visits undertaken by Councillors or others;
- Children's programs;
- Access and equity activities to meet residents' needs;
- Competition Policy;
- Rates and charges written off;
- Freedom of Information requests;
- Privacy and Personal Information Protection
Council has also included its Financial Health Check Report Card with this annual report.
