Tablelands Community Support OptionsTablelands Community Support Options is a series of State and Australian government funded programs delivered and coordinated by Uralla Shire Council from the Community Centre in Hill Street, Uralla. These programs include Community Options, Rural & Remote Respite, Community Aged Care Packages, Aborignal Community Options, Dementia Respite and Elders programs. TABLELANDS COMMUNITY CARE PACKAGES Service: A complete package of services for elderly people who wish to remain in their own homes. TABLELANDS RURAL AND REMOTE RESPITE SERVICE Service:A recreational respite service for people with a disability aged 16 to 65 years. TABLELANDS RESPITE FOR CARERS OF PEOPLE WITH DEMENTIA Service:An in home/out of home respite service for carers of people with dementia. TABLELANDS ABORIGINAL COMMUNITY OPTIONS Service:Support and case management to assist elderly Aboriginal people, people with a disability and their carers to access HACC services. TABLELANDS ABORIGINAL COMMUNITY CARE PACKAGES: Service:A complete package of services for elderly Aboriginal people who wish to remain in their own homes and communities. NARWON ELDERS GROUP: Service:A day program for the Elders in the Aboriginal community. Meets alternately in Armidale and Uralla each Tuesday for friendship and outings. more ..
